Yesterday, three of Selangor FC national players Khairulazhan Khalid, Quentin Cheng and Mukhairi Ajmal returned to participate in a training session with other teammates at the FAS Training Center, Shah Alam.

Apart from them, Shahrel Fikri, national striker, returned to training earlier as he had already joined previous sessions in the same week. The national players were given a break after the AFF Suzuki Cup competition which took place in Singapore in December 2022.

Khairulazhan Khalid, the main goalkeeper of Selangor FC was interviewed before the afternoon training session began and shared his feelings about returning to training at the Red Giants camp.

“Alhamdulillah, for the first day of training today, I am very happy to be back training with my teammates and excited to fight for this year,

“My teammates and I will work hard to achieve something this season, InshaaAllah,” said Khairulazhan Khalid.

Rising young player who successfully played with the national senior team last season, Mukhairi Ajmal was also interviewed as soon as he arrived at the FAS Training Center.

"I am happy to meet my new teammates. I hope all the players can give their best together for Selangor FC this season,"said Ajmal.

"I feel the coaching staff of the 2022 season is a new motivation for the team. We need to follow the strategies and tactics that have been planned by them. InshaAllah, together we give our best for the team," said Ajmal's view on the coaching staff this season.
